Try your hand at one of our papercraft projects
I’m here with another project for you! Many parents are resuming home schooling this week, so I thought I would share a project that your children might enjoy too.
To make the paper beads all you need is some paper, old magazines or wrapping paper are great for this, some glues, a pair of scissors and a barbeque stick or pencil.Continue reading DIY Paper Beads you can make at home!
How have you been. Are you climbing the walls yet? Are you looking ahead at a long weekend of quarantine?
To keep you entertained for a short while I have created some digital colouring sheets. There are five in total, which can be downloaded for free. Just click the link below to download the pages. Then print them out and colour them in!
If you decide to colour in any of the patterns please take some pictures and share them with us on social media!
If you decide you would like to BuyMeACoffee, you will have my grateful thanks!
I’m publishing this project a little sooner than planned. (Makes a change.) However I have been super efficient this week and a lot of other bloggers seem to be posting their Valentine’s Day content today, and I wouldn’t want to be left behind!
If you want to make a beautiful and unique card for your valentine this year I have the perfect tutorial for you! All you need is some toilet roll tubes, paint and some red paper and you’re good to go!
Remember, you can sell anything that you make if you wish! If you make this project remember to share photos on our social media! You will find the links to our channels on the left hand side of the screen on a desktop, and on mobile the links are at the bottom of the menu (accessed by tapping the button at the top right of the page!) .
It’s been a while since I filmed a video tutorial or written a project up for the blog. I decided it was about time that changed!
This paper crafting project is one to get your crafty juices flowing! it’s got die cutting, stamping, inky backgrounds and heat embossing.
If you don’t have the same stamps and dies as me, don’t worry. You can use other colours, stamps and dies. For example you might have a stamp that says “with love” and an intricate heart die. You could use these tools instead to make a Valentine’s Day card in red or pink tones.Continue reading Die Cutting with Tonic Studios

As part of the event there will be a quiz/trail for the children to complete, all about the Viking settlement of the area. To help them navigate the trail I have made some flags.Continue reading Viking Longship, Free Cutting File
This is a first for me. I have never made my own cutting files before!
Right Now the Settlers of the Nene Valley are planning a huge celebration of our local heritage (more on that at a later date!). Anyway, as part of this celebration I have been planning a few activities with some of the other Settlers, including designing a coat of arms.Continue reading Hand Made Heraldry
